We here at Integral are still trying to find new and innovated ways to grow and help others grow. One of the things we like to see expanded is the introduction of our first Affiliation. An affiliation is the social and business agreement between two independent entitles or otherwise administrators of two sites which defines how the will relate to each other. In this case a sense of acknowledge and partnership of joining sites making things connected. How this differs between the webring is that a webring is just a collection of sites of one definition band together to be seen and easily referenced, but as mentioned above an affiliation is the collaboration of web owners towards a partnership. It is the intention of this affiliation to bring dothack fans closer than ever in these struggling times of the internet. Finding any reference on dothack may be difficult for the title starting with a punctuation and a common phrase "hack" which may mislead fans to sites relating towards hacking while in contrast it's a title. With this affiliation we hope to further expand the community and fandom of not just dothack however, but all sites who wish to participate.

To meet this affiliation there will of course be various requirements.

1. You who are submitting a site must be the site's owner
2. Your site must have at least 1,000 registered users
3. Your site must have at least 4,000 articles
4. Your site must be at least over 2 years old
5. Your site must have at least 50,000 monthly page views
6. Your site must have at least 800 monthly uniques

Granted being related to dothack or not is not necessarily a requirement, but we definitely encourage it and prefer it. So if you meet these requirements, then please apply for an affiliation here. And you will be given a response by me personally following up after your application.

Now be aware with any affiliation, there are of course rules to the terms of being in affiliated. What's an affiliation without living up to the the agreement in which it was brought in? Of course it would leave nothing. But the terms of this affiliation are as follows.

1. You must link back to the affiliate, it's a mutual relation after all.
2. If either parties breaks this rule, unless a reason is submitted within 5 business days, the affiliation is thereby terminated.
3. A 88x37 banner must be exchanged between affiliates, it's not that hard to create one if you haven't already.
4. A reliable location of your banner must exist, if none are available then exchange the banner to the partner so that they may maintain your icon be seen at all times.
5. Communication, if you change emails or other means of contact, be sure to notify the other party of new means of communication.
6. Maintenance, be sure to keep your link, title, and banner image always up-to-date with the other party through communications.
