The official .hack//LINK trial version released on November 26th 2009 by BandaiNamco Games Incorporated. Download this ZIP compressed file to your hard drive. Unzip the file maintaining its originally root directory. Our first step will be getting your PSP connected to your computer. Obviously charge up your PSP's battery, turn on your PSP, head on over to the main menu screen, move on left to the Settings tab, scroll up to USB Connection, plug-in your PSP to your computer with the USB cable it came with, press the X button and it should say USB MODE on your PSP. For you Windows user, you may get a pop-up on your computer, if so choose the option "Open folder to view files". Otherwise goto My Computer and find the newest drive and click on it. Move the directory NPJH90083 to your PSP's memory stick GAME folder. If you do not have a GAME folder on your PSP's memory stick, then you will need to create the folders manually and add the two game files to the newly created directory. You should have the following setup on your PSP's memory stick. N:PSPGAMENPJH90083document.dat N:PSPGAMENPJH90083EBOOT.pbp Where (N) represents which drive letter your PSP's memory stick is presently located at. If you done these steps correctly, turning on your PSP and going to the Game tab on your PSP's main menu and going down to Memory Stick and finding the demo located here. If you do not have the latest firmware patch update for your PSP, version 6.20 or higher, you will be asked to update. Those of you who are using a custom firmware will also have to update. To update using the official firmware, just goto the Settings tab on your PSP's main menu and moving up to the System Update where you will be asked to sign into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Just follow the steps and after your PSP is patched up, you will be on your way to playing .hack//LINK Trial Version!
