Earlier today Nintendo announced their next console and mobile hybrid, the Nintendo Switch; which is expected to release 2017. This time they are putting a better emphasis on third-party support and by revealing a list of publishers, we can see that Bandai Namco is listed among the day one publishers. We can only hope that the .hack series known for venturing on consoles (PS2) and mobiles (PSP and Smartphones); will see a future on the Nintendo Switch. What do you think of this announcement?

PAX Prime now PAX West will be hosted next week; every year we look for any dothackers cosplaying and also swing by the Bandai Namco booth for hopes of a new title or dothack localization. When the latest .hack// mobile game franchise came out, it was referred to as Project N.U. and it's first volume would be known as New World Volume 1 "Maiden of Silver Tears". Speculation is that the planned volumes has been dropped as the game has been renamed just .hack//NewWorld in it's latest 2.0 update earlier this month. What are your thoughts?
