After an hour or so, well it was more like 4 or so because I was going back and forth from programming to watching the deadliest catch, I finally finished my login system for the editors. After logging in you are able to go to the screen where all the buttons are to load the editors. Remember you are only allowed in one editor at a time! I'll be working on getting the editor system working after a few hours of sleep.
Please note: The greyed out buttons are features that will be coming later. Also, I'm thinking of getting the updater working tomorrow so I can send out updates to all the staff when I getting more and more features up and running in the editors.
Three new videos were made public yesterday showing off the fighting style of the characters for massive damage! And a video showing off the characters in the offline world, as well as a sample of our lovely Japanese voice actors reading a part from the script from .hack//The Movie!
Be sure to check out the latest three videos here in the official topic on our forum
Or start your own discussion in our newly created .hack//The Movie forum.
Until next time, space cowboy!
Story within a story .hack isn't only getting a CG animated film. It's also has an erotic game knock-off called, coughs, .[censored].
Released years ago, the game promises to blend cyberspace, enormous eyes and one heck of a title. And this is volume four? I feel like I've missed something, namely volumes one, two, and three.
Erotic game parodies are a dime a dozen, but it's only a special few that are not only able to bluntly parody a title, but also do it in the same number of letters. Crass, sure, but brilliantly so!
Or maybe it's a game within a movie? Or maybe it's just a movie—enough! Okay, .hack, the video game within a video game video game, is getting a movie version.
.hack debuted as a video game with 2002's .hack//Infection, and are part of a multimedia franchise that encompasses television anime, manga, and even music. The .hack games are developed by CyberConnect2, which is currently working on Asura's Wrath for Capcom.
The movie is CG and 3D and, as you can see from the trailer, it's more story within a story from .hack. It hits Japanese theaters January 2012.
.hack//TheMovie [Official Site]
Just announced a few short hours ago, but CyberConnect2 the creators of dothack have just announced their latest installment in the dothack franchise, .hack//The Movie!

So as many of you noticed, we're back! I welcome newest GM team consisting myself, DoF, and Icefen. We'll be rebuilding towards a new RPG entanglement for you to enjoy. At first glance, the forum is different but is this a new skin and what happened to the old skins? The skins have been deleted and the forum itself has been upgraded to the latest major software update and a lot has changed and many things have been gained and lost.
I'm slowly working our way back and making old things compatible, of course my first and biggest compatibly issue was the avatar system as I don't want to waste all the hard efforts from our former sprite team members to go to waste. The system now works as the new forum software disbanded the avatar and profile photos for a new old fashion "global" avatar. You'll just have to drop into the avatar editor and resave your current canvas to update your avatar to the new system avatar.
I'm going for a new streamline system all around the forum. While visiting the fabled avatar editor page you'll notice the system matches our forum for the first time. My next project that I'm working behind the shadows is replacing our homepage software for our never used forum homepage software and been playing with the source coding and attempting to remind people what dothack was truly all about. Expect to find screenshots of the system as I establish new features to share with you.
What direction you think Integral will be heading next? We've done it all over the last 7 years from forums, role-plays, web-RPG's, MMO's, radiostations, podcasts, personal avatars, newsletters, wiki's, galleries, webrings, webcomics, newsletter's, ecommerce, minecraft servers, acarde games, ventrilo, skype chats, chatrooms, guild's in popular MMO's like; Ragnarok Online, World of Warcraft, Mabinogi, and EVE-Online. Our beloved member Pi has been eager to try her talent at managing her very own online adoptable management system so of course we were eager to sponsor her project and if you haven't seen her progress in the Creative Feedback forums then maybe you should.
We'd also like to give a shoutout over to the fan community CyberConnects.org, and no, I do not mean the other fan community CyberConnects.com, the dot org site has successfully developed and published online for early alpha testers to play in an actual 3D MMO game of "The World" with real texture packs from the original dothack games. A successful test was ran this month and many were capable of downloading, creating their character, and logging into this very early alpha stage game with amazing results.
I'd also like to give a shoutout towards our friends at Dothackers.net, they've brought us much attention for dothack over the many years and was successfully able to bring forth the many fans of dothack together to make their voices heard to the publisher BandaiNamco that we the fans want dothack to continue with .hack//LINK localized, with a picture of the American community manager of BandaiNamco holding the grunty that Dothackers mailed to him posted on his twitter account. I hope everyone hasn't forgotten about the the strength of numbers and that the fans will continue to show their strength and resolve.
And finally, are you a fan of Integrability on Facebook? If you haven't like us on Facebook, please join us and chat with your fellow Integrians on facebook today! http://www.facebook.com/integrability
Until next month, adieu Integrians!

Well it took almost 6 hours but the entire server know has error handling. What does this mean? It means that the server should crash less and it will report what happened via a file and I'll be able to fix it.
I just wanted to let everyone know that scripted items will only be temporary. Their effects will only last as long as your logged in. You will not loose the items when you use them. So you can use them as many times as you want. I'll explain the scripted items more tomorrow in this thread.
Yes It's me again (supposed with the end of staffing you'd thought I'd leave this role, but alas no.) with another monthly update on the goings on in the community of Integrability.
As mentioned before all staff roles have been cancelled leaving Integrability effectively dead but (the word everyone hates) the site itself isn't dead. People are still joining and posting, the RP is still being used by a few members and of course I'm still writing newsletters (maybe I have too much time or am just procrastinating). Many discussions have been going on between members and Edan on what will happen now. Many ideas have come up such as a brand new site or changing the dothack theme of Integrability. For more information ask someone on site such as Edan or Namine (who will kill me for suggesting them, oh well)
Moving swiftly onwards, try and bring people back or invite new people. as long as the site remains up it will need new members to keep going. The next generation as it were. Whether it's as a post on another site, a mention to someone online or even to friends at work or school, get them on site or back on site!
Finally, what is the route you think Integrability should take? PM me your thoughts and i'll include them next.
Thanks for reading,
PK, PKK names are now normal.
Guild list fully working
Job level now levels up
New graphics. Will be used shortly. All items will be changed to match new icons.
Scripted Items and Spells are now underway items should be finished tomorrow
New sprites will be uploaded in the 0.2.x updates.
All known bugs except the following have been fixed.
CRTL Freeze - I can't reproduce no matter how long i hold down crtl.
Health Potion Issue - I can't reproduce. Make a video for this so i can see whats happening.
Job XP over 1000 and not leveling up.
Spell description menu - its in the wrong place and will be updated today.
The following is not a bug.
Lag and a billion npc talks. This is due to the weapon eqiuped . I will add a check to see if the npc is friendly and slow the attack down.
Ovan mail in the outbox. Its not a glitch. It is there because server puts it there when you make a new account. You are free to do with it as you please.
Our friends at dothackers have been working the past many months now on attempting to localize the Sony PSP game .hack//LINK Twilight Knights for our English reading/speaking gamers. They've gone through very extreme attempts to rally the dothack fandom together to accomplish this goal and they still need everyone's help. Their latest attempt was to collect fan letters from all across the globe and putting them in a box with a grunty plushie to mail to BandaiNamco Headquarters in California. This package was mailed off and we all eagerly wait to hear a response from BandaiNamco's community manager.
But they need more help, and help that each and everyone one of you can provide. With E3 around the corner, all of their social networks that belong to BandaiNamco are getting high traffic and attention so we need you voice your request regarding .hack//LINK to be localized.
If you love and support dothack over the past few years or never heard of the series but would like to make a difference nonetheless, then please share your opinions on BandaiNamco's social networks.
Poke at Namco Bandai on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/namcobandai
Follow Namco Bandai's Community Manager http://twitter.com/filthierich
There are more ways you can help, you can review your options here on dothackers.net website. http://linkus.dothackers.net/
And thanks for your support!
Integrability has pretty much lived and died, and it's not just because of school and finals because many of us are not in school and have jobs or are in grade school and were able to contribute to this community a numerous of times regardless of real life daily life. But this community itself and without the strong support of it's motivational leaders and creative staff team has been unattractive as it once was back as Integral 2007 or held the whimsical attitude during The World RP of 2004. Of course many would attribute the decline because of the dothack series coming to an end, whereas I believe this to be false personally.
Integral and Integrability was never really about dothack, I mean we always had just 1 forum section to talk about dothack, but these forums were about always about the communities we became and the projects we developed and the interactivity we gave to each and every single one of you. Our projects and our community was always about you people, not dothack. Our role-play was about you the characters in a fictional world we wrote out for you to understand and how to play as with all the tools you needed to play and interact even without known what the dothack series was. It was about Integral and how you yourself too were integral apart of us.
Many of you were beginning artists wanting to become successful and talent artists, all of you did. Most of you were scared and unsociable individuals who became talkative speakers during our skype chats and podcasts. Some of you did not have a relationship or were wanting to find that significant other you can count on and be together with, those of you looking for that found it. And all of you wanted to find a friend and meet them, and you found them, here.
Everyone came to Integral to find something or become someone, and you all found exactly what you wanted. So Integrability had really nothing to do with dothack in a way. It was mostly about the experiences you wanted to find, and we all found them. Integrability has now become the house we grew up and have left like a young child becoming a teenager and leaving their parents to find a career or a new family. This is where we all are now, and Integrability unfortunately will be left behind.
I will leave Integrability up online along with it's subsidiaries like the gallery, the cleansed wiki, our homepage, the chatroom, and our social communities. However our projects such as the newsletter, the podcast, our MMO game, the webcomics, and the sprites are now closed. All existing products will be available for you to find on the forums and homepage, but future productions are closed with the disbanding or our staff teams.
Maybe someday, Integrability will become a home to the next younger generation who are wanting to find the same experiences you all found, but as of now officially Integrability will be shutting down from a production stand point. You all are free to use the blogs, forums, shoutboxes, chatrooms, and all existing parts of this communities if you continue to like. And if in the future I find a strong motivational team to lead this community, I'll appoint them as the new staff team. But until that day, thank you everybody of Integrability and good luck on your future and your lives and don't forget to live life to it's fullest!
Hello all and welcome to this months newsletter,
While there has been less activity on site we have seen many new members (for those of you who haven't checked yet, our members are now over 1000 in number!) and some major contributions have been made to the site.
A few months ago we on site announced the return of the member of the month committee. We spent several messages of appointing members for this most prestigious award before setting about for a vote. This month’s winner was not only awarded for their contributions as a member of staff but also for they’re friendly, outgoing nature and the response from all the new site members about her help. Of course this can only be the one and only AuxLang! (A.K.A Mythee) Well done to Mythee, please keep up the hard work.
The next section of this month’s newsletter is also about Mythee’s contribution to the site. She has recently designed more beast bodies for the users on site so if you are a member of the Tu or Yu tribes head down to the sprite shops now to ‘buff’ up!
Also it’s never been so easy to advertise our glorious site. All you have to do is follow this link: http://forum.dothack...-integrability/ and use one of the banners on the page, on a different site. This way you not only get a cool looking piece of artwork for your profiles etc but also show our site to the World Wide Web!
The site is also looking for a new wiki staff team as our wiki has been wiped to give us a clean slate to carve! With new software to use, it couldn’t be a better challenge to budding dothackers to show their knowledge.
This Icefen and Deimos logging off!
We at Integrability are now sponsoring a new project, a project that will collect and archive all available existing dothack related sites. Why you ask? a numerous reasons. As dothack is receiving less and less attention from it's developers and publishers, the series is infact disappearing. Many organizations and groups are attempting to rectify this one of which is dothackers.net who's goal right now is to localize .hack//LINK the PSP video game on over to the English speaking demographics as the last two previous dothack series were. Previously everyone had run their own little dothack website, gallery, wiki, forum, chatroom, role-play group, etc in their own corner of the internet. Many of these communities have since disappeared or died completely, and we want to preserve the remainder of the active online communities. So I present to you, The Dothack Collection
As of now it may seem small, at this time 29 sites altogether and more been looked for.
Get the word out there and if you happen to own or know a dothack site of any kind, please email me or post here in this topic.
And enjoy the fandom of dothack everyone!
You took the blarg right outta my mouth. Yep, we done gone made ourselves a new skin theme and would love to hear your input on the content. What do you like about it, what do you dislike about it, what would you like us to change about it. Be sure to cast your thoughts in our poll we've posted in the announcement forum.
You do remember dothack right?
So my friends, family and coworkers know this already, but this past week I got confirmation that I am graduating. The marks for my last semester came out this past Tuesday and everything is in order. This is something I have been excited for for the longest time, to finally be done school. I say done I don’t mean permanently, I do hope to go back one day and get my masters or something but for now I am done, maybe one day become a prof, but for now after 18 years of being in a classroom I feel I am ready for a break from that.
So this essentially means two things, I need to get a hair cut and get a real job. The hair cut is the easy part I mean I haven’t actually got it cut since September 14, 2010 the mess of hair has grown on me, pun intended, I am a bit hesitant to cut it at this point, but it is difficult to maintain and so I need it at least trimmed down. As for finding a job I actually need to start looking, I have signed up with Linked in and Monster, haven’t actually posted my resume yet, that is one of my goals for this weekend, you know clean it up update information.
Some other things I need to do, well when I actually bought this domain name I bought it for a purpose, at the time I was working on this application that I thought was pretty neat, it is a simple application to make changing wallpapers under windows nice. An added bonus if you have multiple screen configurations it handles the screen individuality, So no longer it is needed to make up a complete wallpaper in your photo editor of choice. Also it properly scales the image while maintaining aspect ratio, and some other cool things you will see when I finally release it. There were a few bugs I forgot about when I wrote it, school work took priority so I never got around to finishing it. The bugs are a minor thing and I also hope to have that posted this weekend.
Also for one of my last courses I my computer science degree, I created a game I think is kind of interesting, I have a proof of concept of it done as the course required but there are some things I would like to do to it before I release it. I don’t want to give away many details but it is a puzzle game based around using light sources as a game mechanic. Part of the course requirements meant that it had to be written in GLUT, with openGL. I do wish to add sound to the game and improve a few of the flaws before I release it, I am planning on porting it to SDL. I hope to have at least a beta out by the end of next month.
What else am I working on… there is a game that was released over a year ago in Japan that I was really waiting for, I even bought a PSP at the time in anticipation for the game, but intimately the people who generally release this series of games have yet to mention if they are planning to localize it and this is unfortunate because it is a great series. That series is .hack and the game is .hack//LINK, so until Namco Bandai announces their intention to release the game. I am working on a fan translation of the game, essentially I am not skilled in Japanese, but I figured out the whole file requirements and have made up some programs to edit the files included in it easily and I met a translator online who was interested in helping the project. This project seems so far away from completion that I cannot give a timeline, but in the mean time here is a video to keep those interested drooling.
Greetings everyone! It's that time of month again. Time for another Newsletter installment.
A lot has happened in the month of March. Spring is here and it seems to have brought some new things to the table to start the season strong. To begin with two new forum sections have been added. These are Statistically Speaking and Rational Thought. Statistically Speaking is more of a forum to hold debates and see what other people think using the poll option as well. Rational Thought is more a general discussion board than anything. So, remember to check out both of these new forums.
This month anyone should have noticed the @home section in the rp forums. This was added newly this month as well. Guild leaders are now able to apply and receive an @home. Now there is no need to hold guild meetings in random places. Guild members may now frequent their guilds @home at their leisure. Also, the more active your @home is the more may be able for it get upgrades!
One of the more exciting things that happened was the User Choice Awards. The month of March saw another year returned of the UCA's. The UCA's are pretty self explanatory. All you do is vote for who you want to win a specific category and hopefully with enough votes they will win. Don't forget to check out who won! It might just be you!
Two other things are the Member of the Month Committee is trying to get going again and the podcast team released their second episode. Go and listen to the newest Podcast, it's assured to be entertaining. Also, the Member of the Month Committee is still searching for members. So, if you feel you're capable go ahead and apply!
Well, that brings us to close.
Until next month,
The Newsletter Team
