Thank you and enjoy listening to our first of many podcasts!
Hello Integrians! We at Integrability have been dabbing with the idea for starting a podcast for years. And of course with years of thinking and tinkering, we've had the means and ability to host and distribute one.
However we've always lacked 1 critical component, a team. In the previous two years we've also threw up the suggestion of those wanting to be apart of our Podcast Team should apply to the Media Division. But maybe we haven't made that all clear to everyone, so we'd like to remind you about this interesting fact. With Integrability, we can teach you the skills and talent to host a podcast where listeners from Integrability or from the Apple iTunes market can download and listen to your news and commentary about Integrability, dothack, the Roleplay, the MMO in development and anything else you wish to speak of.
So we are looking for at least 2 talented individuals who are not afraid of speaking to a larger audience, or 2 people whom never done public speaking but are wanting to try something new and give this and yourself a chance. Previous experience is not required as we can help you feel comfortable speaking in our weekly Skype chats on Saturdays. And no skills on how to record, create, upload, distribute the podcast is required either as we can do this for you and or teach you the skills how prior or during your employment with us.
Required materials will of course be a computer, reliable access to the internet, a microphone and if you do not have one Wal*Mart sells them for $12 USD, and Skype which is an instant messenger that utilizing talk chatting over type chatting that can be downloaded here.
We highly recommend you apply today! At least 2 members will be accepted, we if we receive more applicants, then we may consider an expanded team or a backup team so don't hesitate to apply!
All applications can be sent via Private Messenger here. http://forum.dothack.org/index.php?app=members&module=messaging§ion=send&do=form&fromMemberID=1
We approach the end of 2010 and the 2011 year is starting fresh. Through the past year many features have changed and many new members have joined. Although, our site has seen a decline in new members. There has recently been a sudden rush of returning members, as more and more appear to be joining (Some even staying!). We have welcomed back many old members who are now trying to help out the site in every way they can through their new job positions (Devotion to Duty, you keep it up guys!)
However we can not forget our wonderful staff who have kept the site going. Remember they’re still hiring for most teams. So want to help out the site more? See this page for details: http://forum.dothack.org/topic/1350-now-hiring-staff-applications
Of course, there are some major changes in the actual site too. More events are being given to our faithful RPers. Several themed events have been taking place, we just saw a Halloween event (haunted memories, bad pun sorry) but now our wonderful GMs have brought back the Winter Ball. Three mini-events have been planned for the Winter Ball. Go to http://forum.dothack.org/topic/1348-winter-ball/page__pid__17804#entry17804 to check it out and prepare to dance and show off your moves! We also saw Nexus Trimean win Wiseman in the last Becoming Dothack event and now it has been announced that there will be three winners in the month of December. Not only that but you get to choose the name you want! Don’t miss out on this one time offer and get to http://forum.dothack.org/topic/21-q06-becoming-dothack/page__st__80__p__18117#entry18117 for you chance to win! Congratulations to the lucky winners of the Winter Holiday Giveaway Extravaganza event as well.
If you want to help fellow dot hackers even more join the .hack// Link localization campaign to bring it to areas near you!
Other features recently changed within the site include a map to show where around the world site users come from. Already many members have added their location, will you? Again a brand new site look has been revealed, this time even more in the spirit of the holidays than before-and with music! It fits the mood in many places around the world where it is currently snowing! Hope you lot in those areas aren’t to stuck and if so are keeping spirits high. Of course, if you need cheering up just come back to us here at http://www.dothack.org where we’re sure to keep you entertained. Have a happy holidays and a great new year!
See you all next month,

Only a few days left so hurry now!
You've heard of Becoming Dothack right? The forum event where participants have the opportunity to win a username based on a character from the dothack series as oppose to our forum rules which deny's everyone from registering with a name based on a character from the dothack series. Up until now all names have been preselected and published for those to enter if they like that particular name. For the holidays and this month and this month only we're opening the event to allow YOU to choose what dothack character name YOU want if you win. That's right, pick a name from the dothack series and three winners on Christmas day will be selected and given the very name they requested. See this post for the rules and details, http://forum.dothack.org/topic/21-q06-becoming-dothack/page__st__60__gopid__17585#entry17585
There's never such a word as too much of a good thing around here, neither should employment as the currency we offer is gratitude from your fellow team and especially from the members of this community. Integrability as always is is looking for determined members of this community to let their potential and creativity grow with us. We've always allowed each and every single person the same opportunity and chances to apply apart of the majority of the teams here with this community and we will never deny anyone the chance to apply. However, if you are accepted to one of our teams on this community does not mean you spot on that team will be indefinite. Even though you have the position and title still means you must earn that position and title by showing you can do the job and live up to the performance necessary by that team you are on. Integrability has been a community to start many amazing projects and we got a lot to show from those projects over the years to this day that we still use in our everyday lives here. We ask you to show respects to those who built up what we have so far and to give back to the future members of this community by being a member of this administration here and make a positive difference for what we'll all see tomorrow.

Be sure to state which team you wish to be apart of and why, and to improve your chances please include samples of work relating to the position. After which a reply will be sent back inviting you into a larger PM conversation with other administrators and staff team members so that you may ask questions to the team your applying to and questions from us can be asked to you as well. Within 48 hours from the initial conversation, your application will be accepted or declined mentioning why you weren't considered for the team. If you were declined, you still have the opportunity to apply for another team or reapply to the same team at a later date should you meet the requirements which prevented you from the team on your last application.

It has been a little quiet in terms of .hack//Quantum information, however a new exciting 7-whole-minute video was released, and we are very excited to be showing it. It has been uploaded to our youtube page for easier viewing, as well as posted below. The quality sadly isn't top-notch, but that's to be expected for now. You will also be able to catch a glymps of two new characters, Atoli & Kuhn to the cast. Enjoy!
Changes in The World are brewing, in fact you may notice a new area that just opened up recently with GP falling from the forums. While .hack//LINK the manga volume 2 being released, word out there has it that the video game for the PSP may not be coming to America shores. Several petition campaigns are being established by our neighboring .hack communities. And more recently, King of Games has won the username Sanjuro a character seen in the .hack//INFECTION and .hack//Legend of the Twilight, congrats King of Games!
This is Edan signing off!
The official Japanese CC2 website apparently held a poll for the 2010 most popular .hack character, with the top 3 characters being made exclusively into a downloadable wallpaper. #1 was Haseo, runner up at #2 was Kite, with not so far behind at #3 Ryoko Terashima. The entire list can be viewed in Japanese on the official website here: http://www.cc2.co.jp/hack_link/vote/ranking.html
I have translated the other poll results below.
#6: Azure Flame Kite
#11: Tokio Kuryuu
#27: Kite (Sora)
#35: Knight of the Azure Flame
#37: Saika Amagi
#39: Piros The 3rd
#41: Ryo Misaki
#46: Mai Minase
Of course, our beloved Helba didn't make the list, simply because they probably didn't add her to the options! Without a shadow of a doubt, she would be #1, because lets face it, she's the toughest gal in Net Slum.
You can also freely download the wallpapers available below.
1024 x 768
1600 x 1200
1680 x 1050
1920 x 1080
Here are a couple I messed around with to change up the color, since yellow really isn't all that nice on the desktop.
The .hack//Quantum official Japanese website recently updated their website to include the dvd box cover to be released on blu-ray & dvd, as well as pricing and other dvd related information. For the blu-ray copy, it will cost about ￥5,040, which equals $62.08 USD. For the regular DVD copy, it will cost about ￥3,990, which equals $49.14 USD.
The dvd's are already available on Japanese amazon and other websites, so be sure to get your hands on it!
Also, I have added the trailer to our .hack//Portal YouTube channel, which will feature all of our trailers from hereon out.
.hack//Quantum is the latest dot hack installment from Kinema Citrus studio. This will be a 3 part OVA, with the first DVD releasing November 2010 – January 22, 2011. The first DVD will feature one episode and a 16 page booklet, as well as special features such as special footage, bonus CG animation, character commentary and more.
Quantum revolves around adventures in a fictional online game called The World, the characters Tobias (Top right, Balmug look-alike), Mary (Top left, BlackRose look-alike), and Sakuya (center) form a party and embark on a high-difficulty-level quest in The World R:X. This will be the same 'World' shown in .hack//Link released for the PSP.
Bandai Namco Games announced at last September's Tokyo Game Show that a full-CG anime project from Bandai Visual would tie into the .hack//Link game. .hack//Quantum is in fact NOT the mentioned project, so fans can look forward to yet another full CGI film in the new year.

That's right, if you've heard some of our bantor in the Mabinogi game topic, you'll know that many of us like this little classic MMO game that goes by the name Mabinogi Fantasy Life! What you don't know is that the guild that we play with "Integral" was built by Integrability members, which accepts and would like to have Integrability members to join us. So if you already play this MMO, or would like to join this MMO, then you should be aware that this game is pact with lively and supportive guilds and the Integral guild, brought to you by Integrians, wants YOU to join in on the fun!
Those of you who join the game and join the guild, will be awarded the Integral Guild Milestone.
If Mabinogi is your game, but you are already in another guild, or not interested in guilds at all, then we have a Mabinogi Milestone as well.
Also, if you play Mabinogi and joined Integral guild, you WILL get BOTH milestones. How easy is that?
What does Integral offer to you? We support newly joined gamers and veterans of the game. Our activities include casual runs from Dungeons, Shadow Missions, Hot Air Ballooning, Rafting, and newly added or seasonal events. We even work together towards Advancement Arenas, Jousting, and Fashion Contests. We aid each other in obtaining new skills and complete focus on completing members Mainstream Quests. But we're also a social group and have near daily Skype chats while playing the game and during maintenance modes. Other perks include guild discounts for buying and selling, production parties for Life Skill training, random PvP'ing for mutually accepted battles, we even offer our very own wiki for Mabinogi for when the high-traffic MabiWiki it's crashes, and even provide generous gaming knowledge in guild chat and Skype when needed.
What we do NOT accept include but are not limited to: account information sharing (including to guild members), flaming or harassing of any kind to fellow guild members, disrespect towards other guilds, hacking into unreleased areas of the game, use of bots or other scam and phishing conductivity, theft or scamming of fellow guild members, camping opposing giant/elf race guild members, and neglect of the team or intending not to participate occasionally with the group (what's the point of joining a guild if you do not interact talk or chat with the members? seriously we (most) don't bite).
To learn more about this guild, please visit or join our message board and discover where the guild stone is located in the game so that you may join the guild. After you've submitted your guild application, please contact me by any means and I'll finalize your application.
Many of you have been asking in chat about old topics and old discussions, and those of you new on the street probably asking yourselves where did these people come from and why is everyone all cosey with each other? If you are unaware, I have preserved the past with Project Reminisce, a general timeline of the past. With Reminisce you can venture deep back into the past, years and nearly a decade of history. From the exact date when the project started to all its glory some still in it's original content.
Of the notable communities, some of the earliest of you would have remembered the first time we obtained our very own first community. With The World Role-Play, or TWRP, as our first house we bought, we were able to shape a game into a role-play.
After living in our first adobe, we were moved around here and there with our private hoster and with growth came change. At The World RP we did just that and began development of an RPG system to tie into the game to better show graphically and interactively as players could see what levels they were and grow without a member of staff telling them what stats and items they had.
With our devotion and success, came the golden era of .hack//Integral! We had mastered our techniques and abilities and molded a game that had everything every gamer could ask for. Movies, RPG system, dynamic avatars, dothack galleries, dothack news, achievement awards, dothack webrings, user blogs, secured shopping sites, and over 100 thousand of posts. This would be the era in which many people elevated themselves to heroes and antagonist.
Though with heavy activities as we held, caused a demand for better hardware and software, we would not forsee that our happiness came with a price. All which we held was incapable of being powered by any means of anything short of a dedicated server and we were forced to move. Along with such vast features and abilities for all to use, resulted in many loopholes and malicious attempts to break the system. In short, we had to give up luxury and change our attitudes and such came Integral.
We are a proud community who doesn't regret it roots and are thankful for each and every single one of you who made this journey together an awesome one. Many people have come into our lives and also many of you have left the nest egg and started your own adventures. Someday though, we will all meet again and share many more memories and carry on a legacy for the next generation of gamers.
This is Edan saying, thank you everybody, and this is Project Reminisce. http://reminisce.dothack.org
Been a long while eh?
That's right, Edan is back in black with even more updates! What I've done was gone around updating all the forum softwares, so right off the bat you may have noticed quite a few differences and changes. Many of the profile and social activities have modernize into what you would be familiar with at Facebook. And this time around its not just Facebook, we even have the same integration for you Twitter users. Much of the forum itself has been improved for faster performance, ease and convenience for mobile phone users, improved search engine listing, and even customized profile pages.
With the software technical side taken care of we can move onto bigger projects. The Webcomic team recently regrouped with Phyllo and Chansey leading the team. Our beloved Divisional Administrators have been promoted to full administrators. And former original GM and Spriter, Nexus Trimean has jumped on aboard to assist with the MMO that still is in service.
Many more features and updates await around the corner. A new storyline is about to unfold in the world. And even a secondary MMO is currently being developed. Not to mention .hack//LiNK the manga and video are soon to appear in stores along with a new anime in the works.
All this and more, coming to an Integrability near you!
As the year 2010 is slowly gone forward, so has deviantArt and so has Integrability. Last year we introduced to you our deviantArt page. It was limited in structure that only 1 person could be productive on the group as a whole. DeviantArt stepped up the level with their Deviant Clubs, a system which allows individual people to interact and work together to create and maintain a clubhouse style group where members can freely join then interact and engage with others fellow deviants. We bring to you the latest in deviant technology! #integrability
To kick start off our new DA Club, we're initiated an event where you can submit an entry for the club avatar and win either a 15-day free trial or a Silver Subscribed account here on the forum. Be sure to check out the event.
February the month of love has come and will be gone after tomorrow. But we all had a lot of fun this month! We got ourselves a Phyllo, Saaga who won the previous becoming dothack. And after tomorrow we will be gaining a Shugo and Rena, so if you like a chance to win these names, drop by the Becoming Dothack asap!
Many new changes swept Integrability this month, many new members volunteered to become staff members, even some joined the webcomic team and are brainstorming as we speak of possible new comics after 2 years! But that's not all, the GM's have had the most work cut out for themselves this month with the opening of the advancement area and records, 21 registered players have joined the new world! and have already signed up for their advancement tests to become even better.
We've been graced with a shoutbox, how does this differ from the profile status and the chatroom you may ask? The profile status much like Facebook allows you to write what you are up to like if you are listening or watching something at the moment you are on the forum. The shoutbox is as it states a shout that you may like to say and announce to the whole forum, not meant to be used a means to hold a conversation with someone, and meant to replace what people were using their profile statuses as it profile status were making shouts to people. And of course the beloved chatroom is to hold any kinds of discussions freely among your fellow users.
Other changes occurred both on and off the site. We even grew into the Playstation 3's Playstation HOME Beta clubs, look us up as Integrability on the US server and ask the user Erroneous to add you to the club. Note only 30 people allowed into the club as Playstation's maximum allotment.
Something new we been tinkering at the end of 2009 was the start of a Member of the Month Committee. These people would be responsible for discovering a single individual and unanimously decide a member for the month based on the persons attitude, kindness, support, participation, and other qualifications. This month the committee got together and discussed privately who that member would be, and their verdict was........ Shadoman!! He will be now known as our first ever Member of the Month on Integrability for the month of February 2010. Congratulations!
In other news, check out the new Company Blog at our blogs section to see what changes us staff members are making, working on, and deciding behind the scenes that you may soon see live on the community. It's your ticket to the inside scoop of what we're planning beforehand.
Well that's all that I have to share with you for now Integrians, be sure to check out all the latest and join the many exciting events and changes going on today!
So a lot of changes have been going on at the end of last year and now this year. As promised, .hack//Integral the boards have been laid to rest at Reminisce and now the old URL link goes to the new forum. If you haven't joined our new forum, we invite you to register and join the on-going fun! Character models are back in full and new sets are over the horizon. The GM team has released the newest role-play for your enjoyment, utilizing an older role-play technique not done in years with us and even newer techniques which became available. Sadly there is absolutely no RPG system involvement if that's what you were aiming for, however if your a hardcore role-player, then this will fit your bill. What was once a demonstration of a MMORPG provided by Integrability, has now become one of the available MMO's our community has and will be offering. The current demo MMO is up and available to play at anytime should you have a Windows based PC. Download is free and easy, creating an account in the game takes seconds. Our in-game GM team lead by Rion have been making the game quite interesting. And once again our all dothack radio station is back up! Listen to all of the dothack original soundtracks one more time on Winamp, iTunes, RealPlayer, and yes even on your iPhones if you have the Shoutcast app. You'll find that we've dug deeper and deeper into the social networking. We now have our very own Facebook page and we invite you to become a fan today! Including our very own YouTube page. We recommend you check out all this and the coming laid plans that will be available soon only on Integrability.
