So a lot of changes have been going on at the end of last year and now this year. As promised, .hack//Integral the boards have been laid to rest at Reminisce and now the old URL link goes to the new forum. If you haven't joined our new forum, we invite you to register and join the on-going fun! Character models are back in full and new sets are over the horizon. The GM team has released the newest role-play for your enjoyment, utilizing an older role-play technique not done in years with us and even newer techniques which became available. Sadly there is absolutely no RPG system involvement if that's what you were aiming for, however if your a hardcore role-player, then this will fit your bill. What was once a demonstration of a MMORPG provided by Integrability, has now become one of the available MMO's our community has and will be offering. The current demo MMO is up and available to play at anytime should you have a Windows based PC. Download is free and easy, creating an account in the game takes seconds. Our in-game GM team lead by Rion have been making the game quite interesting. And once again our all dothack radio station is back up! Listen to all of the dothack original soundtracks one more time on Winamp, iTunes, RealPlayer, and yes even on your iPhones if you have the Shoutcast app. You'll find that we've dug deeper and deeper into the social networking. We now have our very own Facebook page and we invite you to become a fan today! Including our very own YouTube page. We recommend you check out all this and the coming laid plans that will be available soon only on Integrability.
Hello everyone. First of all, I'd like to say that I'm sorry it's taken me this long to post anything here. I got pretty busy the past couple of weeks between Christmas, working on my first iPhone app, and of course school work.
So anyway, I now have something to show. Here is a video of the Chaos Gate system, that works 100% already.(you can add new areas to the chaos gate on the fly, without having to restart the server or anyone needing to update their game)
Within the next couple days most likely, I'll be releasing a client out to everyone that has access to these staff forums only. At the time when I do that, their won't be many maps most likely. Just enough for you all to be able to test the features of the game out, and nothing more.
Thanks for reading this and watching the video, please leave a comment here if you want.
Welcome to 2010!,
We at Integrability would like to wish you a happy new year! And what better way to start the new year with many new treats! The World RP is back! What a bargain! Any who, head on over to the Shopping Mall district of the new structure layout of the sprite models to see all the R1 class related sprites for purchase and head over to the Armory to pick up some weapons.
And finally, our beloved Game Masters led by the new Divisional Administration are secretly behind closed doors where eyes can not see, are crafting what will be the new World. A world unbound by a centralized RPG system and back to the basic roots of forum role-playing. Many accommodations are being made to ensure a newer and traditional role-playing experience for everyone. So stay tuned and stick tight to the exciting adventures of Integrability!
Hello this is Lee Keramory, executive and head of the graphic department at CyberConnect.
Yes we are a real company, and no so you are not mislead, we are not CyberConnect2.
We are proud to show, to the point of going out our forums, our newest product.
This of course, is the new online .hack game. And yes, it is in 3d.
A brief video of Mac Anu, our 3d root town.
Our company site can be located at www.cyberconnects.com
Our public forums can be found at www.cyberconnects.com/forum, where many other users waiting for the game interact. For GU users we have a very active RP forum for them, because our games are based off R:1.
For any questions, feel free to ask. There has been much confusion with CyberConnect and Bandai to the public eye which can be easily corrected while I'm here.
For my personal work, feel free to photobucket "Keramory".
Thank you for your time,
The first thing many of you may have noticed is that the role-play forums are gone. Let me be the first to assure you they are not. The role-play forums have always been the heart and soul of Integral and now Integrability. Currently the role-play forums are set to hidden while the beloved Game Masters make preparations for the future of role-playing. Now the next thing you're probably asking yourself all the while is where is the RPG System? First and foremost the previous RPG was only intended for the software of our last forum, this being an entirely new software system (while similar looking to the last forum) makes compatibility entirely impossible without an entire re-write of the RPG System software from the ground up. And we have always acknowledged the RPG System being a great resource in managing characters and interactivity, it was always the leading troubles in progress and slowing us down when we had to leave a system for another like today. It is in most likely that an RPG with Integrability won't be having an RPG System any longer from impeding us any further.
So what will you do until the role-play and a new setup in place of an RPG is ready? Well we encourage you to join in your own adventures in our Fictional Play forum formerly Userbase Roleplay forum. There, you are free to write up your own role-play adventures be it related towards dothack, another series or franchise, or something entirely original that you've created.
On top of which, our Character Model system was never dependent on our RPG System unlike our previous avatar systems, which means while you post in Fictional Play or in any forum for that matter, you will be gaining points for the Character Model system for you to make purchases towards your very own custom avatar!
So what are you waiting for? Be among the first to get a head start today!
Welcome back! So is our radio! What is KWTF Integral Radio? It is our official radio station hosted by us Integrability. We offer you online the streaming playback of every dothack soundtrack imaginable. How much does this cost you? Nothing, absolutely free. However there is a preset amount of listeners allowed to tune into this radio station, so first come first serve.
To tune into this radio station, please head on over to our radio page to learn more and find the link to tune in. Do note that this radio requires the use of a SHOUTCast stream enabled media player such as iTunes, WinAmp, and RealPlayer. Microsoft's Windows Media Player 11 will not be able to tune into this station without additional plugins. The Nintendo Wii is however known to be able to play the broadcast. And through personal experience so can Apple's iPhone using the SHOUTCast application and searching for "Integral", allowing you to listen to the station anywhere on the go.
This web streaming radio station doesn't allow you to download the tracks, nor will we ever provide them to you. Should you wish to own your copy of these musics, we suggest you purchase a full copy of them at any reliable retailer like AnimeNation, Amazon.com, or RightStuf.
You like the quality of this project and would like to find ways to contribute? Sure! We'd love to have your assistance. If your looking for a staff position then we recommend you joining the Media Division, contact Edan via PM for more information. Otherwise if you don't want to take a full time staff position in supporting the radio, then we also take recordings of you shouting out to your number one favorite .hack radio station KWTF Integral Radio! Just get a microphone and clear any background noise, record a sampling you think best including your username and something nice about KWTF Integral Radio, attach the sample to a post or PM so that the Marketing Division can review it, and hope to hear it soon the next time you tune into our radio. It's that easy!
So what are you waiting for? Tune into the KWTF Integral Radio today!
As most of you may already know, the IRC Chatroom has some basic rules stated everytime you enter the channel, for those that miss it here it is again in recap.
Username from the site
giving out personal info
outside linkage to non img/vids
For those unaware what these may mean or want a clearer understanding of this, I have provided them as follows. The username from site rule implies that you are a member of .hack//Integral, being that in order for use to acknowledge, associate, and support you it is greatly helpful that you use your exact username from the site. IRC won't allow blank spaces and at this point you can either write your forum name one word or use an underscore, this is the only exception to the rule when it comes to usernames. But please, do not select other random words, reversed names, names with excess information, choosing other users usernames.. as it will lead to the chatroom penalties towards you. We will allow the use of information to show away status of any kind, however no titles or again excessive and useless and unrelated information. No flamming and harassing can be addressed simply that we do not tolerate you or anyone(s) to shout, attack verbally, swear, mock, ridicule, embarrass, condescending, force someone out, dishonor, disrespect others in the channel. So be sure to treat others how you wish to be treated back and don't expect any less. Giving out personal information is a tenative topic, simple first or nick names over usernames is tolerable, but to give out your full entire name is no different than giving out someone your SSN, so DON'T do it! So we ask that all times, even if you are whispering a message privately to someone on IRC, do not give out phone numbers, full names, SSN's, credit card information, home address, or anything else that could compromise yourself to others you don't know or think you may know. Originally the rule on outside linkage was to focus the users on general chatting while not being interrupted or annoyed by personal links or links to products and services. Moreso became important at the time of user solicitation of services, rewards, and promotional uses which in the end abolished general linking forbidden from the chatroom and only leaving users to link directly to images and videos on youtube for sharing and discussion. However, as of late many users have been misusing this privilege as an excuse to spam immaturely to the point where it clutters the chat, interrupts users, and discourages users from participating in the chatroom only to see rows of image links. Therefore the rules on image and video links is limited to at low peak hours, non-deep initiated conversations, and at the rest of the channels users discretion. Meaning if you are posting too many links at a time and a or several users request you to discontinue, please do so otherwise the chatroom penalties will be applied. And of course the final rule which is self explanatory, there are ways to enter the chatroom numerous sessions where there will be many of you listed in the online list, please do not abuse this and stick to one session at a time. This causes high confusion as well as unnecessary sessions in the chatroom and can lead to penalties.
Now you've heard the word penalties a lot above, now time to go deeper into what they really are.
The basic action, you will be asked by users or staff to refrain from dishonoring the channel rules.
When action one is ignored action two results in you being removed from the channel temporarily.
When action two is ignored and unaccepted, you will be temporarily discharged from the channel for a period of time.
Simple? Of course with rules and penalties comes questions and concerns eh?
If the offender is committing mild to minuscule offense towards you, you have the power to ignore that user with the /ignore namehere IRC command which prevents their text from being displayed. This won't work on +v or +o users as they are unignorable unless demoted.
If the offender happens to be a staff member who is voiced, they will loose their +v privileges if a report of repeated offense is made by that user.
If you have any questions not addressed here, you have the power and right to contact a site moderator and administrator who may be on the chatroom. If none are present, you are free to contact one on the site and note you are not limited to contact just one, by contacting several you up your chances of the issue being handled or answered sooner. But do try to contact those that show up on the online list first and wait for their response.
On top of the last note, if you have a general question that isn't private or directed about a single person and more on the chatrooms performance, rules, regulations, topics, usage, you are free to post them in the Feedback fora which will support other users who may have the same questions and concerns or some that may stem from yours.
So while participating in the chatroom with fellow members, always consider the best intentions for yourself and others who frequent our little chatroom in order to provide a safe, fun, and comfortable environment for all of us here.
What is INTEGear? INTEGear is thew newest way to express the inner dothack in yourself. Expand the inner geek hidden deep within us all by flaunting to your friends and family that you my friend are a dothacker! Do you player kill for fun? Do you have the unexplictable urge to say OMGWTFINTEGRALBBQ? Or want everyone to know that your post count increased by one? Get the gear, wear the gear, and show off your gear thanks to INTEGear!
And always stayed tuned on how to get your own custom idea printed on one of our shirts here at Project Integral!
I'm sure many of you are wondering why is it there's a few features on the site that you are inaccessible to or can't seem to figure why many features set limits are really low. For starters guest viewers have access to see everything, above that is member users which have the ability to access most things to at least view them but unable to create, next up are the silver and gold package plans that have the ability to use most of the site's features including creating blogs and near unlimited restrictions on contents and size limits, and finally of course is the staff chain which has the power to manage every submitted portion at the site.
In the past we've introduced this as the "Premium Users" benefits, which was those that donated an accumulation of $100 towards the site. However back then many of the features were not as manageable or didn't exist as they are now. Every user that was apart of the Premium Users groups back then or donated towards the site were given 1 free year to this site's new packaging/subscription gold plan.
The benefits of the Subscription Plans provide you and is not limited to the following:
Self operated option to edit username once a month (silver) - (link)
Self operated option to edit username up to tree times a month (gold) - (link)
Blog Creation - (link)
Personal Gallery Creation - (link)
Unlimited Gallery submissions
Unlimited Download submissions
Unrestricted Calendar submissions - (link)
Unrestricted daily Downloading
Increased file attachment in posts
Increased private messages inbox size
Decreased flood time in posting/searching
Ability to add an attachment file in a private message
Ability to send a private message to 25 users in a single message
Increased reputation points to award
Unrestricted post editing time
Ability to open/close own topics
But again, this is not limited to currently as many new options and availability is being added to this new site constantly. There are currently 4 different package plans: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. All receive the same benefits, the only true difference is how long each package lasts. The rates however to vary as shown below.
These plans can be seen as an overview in your profile in My Controls under Options as seen here
Currently we only accept PayPal subscriptions. We hope you realize that running a site does require effort from everyone, and in able to keep a site up and running constantly without any troubles requires contributors, associates, and sponsors. This being one of the necessities keeping up what you all enjoy, but not going unrewarded at that. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly via PM. I do not recommend asking others or on the chat page and only I have access to your confidentially and up-to-date on the terms of this project. So I hope you all enjoy your new found options and abilities given and provided by everyone here at Integrability.
Note: Package rules, requirements, availability, rewards, guidelines are all subject to change at any given time based on growth, usage, and tolerance.
We here at Integrability are still trying to find new and innovated ways to grow and help others grow. One of the things we like to see expanded is the introduction of our first Affiliation. An affiliation is the social and business agreement between two independent entitles or otherwise administrators of two sites which defines how the will relate to each other. In this case a sense of acknowledge and partnership of joining sites making things connected. How this differs between the webring is that a webring is just a collection of sites of one definition band together to be seen and easily referenced, but as mentioned above an affiliation is the collaboration of web owners towards a partnership. To meet this affiliation there will of course be various requirements.
You who are submitting a site must be the site's owner
Your site must have at least 100 registered users
Your site must have at least 3,000 articles
Your site must be at least over 1 year old
Your site must have at least 1,000 monthly page views
Your site must have at least 300 monthly unique visits
We are of course a dothack related community therefore we would like to aim towards having dothack specific communities and sites apart of our affiliation, it is strongly encouraged and will definitely help your chances being accepted. So if you meet these requirements, then please apply for an affiliation here. And you will be given a response by me personally following up after your application.
http://forum.dothack.org/index.php?app=links (please choose the category your site fits with)
Or wish to talk to me about making an arrangement outside these requirements then send me a Flash Mail and we can discuss things further.
Seeing how FM's are currently being debatable with my hosting company, we've decided to move things to an temp alternative for messaging others in real time and using an old alternative source thats been always available to us, thats right the IRC Network! For those unaware IRC is the name of the original real time chat network; as we refer to them now adays as IM's such as AIM, MSN, ICQ, YIM, Jabber, etc. Anyways the best deal of IRC is no email or account is required unlike the IM's systems. All you need to know is where its at and a means of getting there. There are various ways of connecting to IRC and the option is left to you, here's the following means of meeting.
The GameSurge website page uses JAVA, so ensure you have the latest version of JAVA installed from java.sun.com, then goto http://www.gamesurge.net/chat/integral page to be prompted with their pjirc applet which you'll need to approve if using any firewalls or winxp firewall. And once you get loaded, you should instantly be in the main chat, then change your name by using the /nick <username> command.
Opera Internet Browser
Because the Opera Web Browser has IRC chat integrated into its system, one may simply follow an IRC address (using the IRC protocol, for example: irc://irc.gamesurge.net/integral). Opera will recognize this immediately as IRC and prompt you to create a chat account if one does not exist already. There is nothing wrong with this, but it would be easier to create an account going through the menu interface, and tweaking the settings via editing the accounts properties once created, that way everything is on the up and up. Here is a crash course, provided by Tabris, on all the available fields for each tab and what you'll want in them to make sure you have everything set up correctly.
General Account Name: This is just something for your sake, so you can easily identify what the chat account is associated with, in this case best to use Integral. Account category: Again, something for you to keep your accounts categorized and organized to your liking. Nickname: What you'll be identified as, enter your username here. Full name: Optional, if you wish to provide it. Mail address: Your e-mail address. I don't believe it is required if you're only using a temporary account (as in, not registered by the server). Organization: Optional. You could feel slick and put http://www.dothack.org/ as your affliated organization. Servers (The important stuff) Server: irc.eu.gamesurge.net Port number: 6667 Password: If you're simply using a temporary access, you don't need to provide this. Outgoing (Ah, more geekery) Default encoding: utf-8 DCC port pool start: 1024 DCC port pool end: 1040 [checkbox] Can accept incoming connections: Up to you. I think it has to deal with accepting private chat connections, but could be wrong. To be on the safe side, keep it checked.
[checkbox] Open private chat windows in the background: Your preference. Performs as titled. Perform commands when connected (Important):
You'll want to type in /join #integral
This allows it so that when you sign on, you immediately opt to join the Integral IRC chat.
Server Allias: GameSurge
Nickname: Your account name on the site
Username: Your account name on the site
Nickname will be the name displayed in the channel, username can't be the same as nickname but won't be displayed and userinfo can be left unchanged. Once done click on the silver IRC button on the contact list and select the last option "Join a channel" and type in just "integral" and thats all.
Description: GameSurge: Random EU server
IRC Server: irc.eu.gamesurge.net
If you have mIRC already installed, you can also just use the link for Opera or the one provided below
Now if you have an application such as mIRC to get on, then all you need to do is click on the link provided below.
Also for you Mac users, here's a useful IRC application if all of the suggestions above fail.
Once you're logged in by any method above, I'd advise you to use your forum name to help us know who you are incase added support is needed or finding reference posts. To change your name just type in:
Make sure you replace <username> with your board's user name. If your name has spaces such as John Doe, then use an underscore for the space like John_Doe.
If you have any questions about how to connect to the chatroom, then I suggest you prompt a question over at the Complications forum.
At the time of this post, registrations are closed. This is due to the fact we are under-going the creation and foundation of tomorrows future of Integral. When this is accomplished registrations will publicly be available for first time users, returning users, and even will allow Facebook users to register instantaneously. Prior to launch there will be many attempts of gathering returning users in BETA testing campaigns found on the present site. After which with a real interaction with staff and beta testers to prove the might and capabilities of this new forum, you can expect to find registrations open. We're sorry to inform you returning users that we will not make strives to re-create your accounts as in all fairness every user will have to register all over again to set forth the ideals that Integral is no more and that we are now Integrability and that the role-play we once knew and beheld is gone and that a new one will take its place.
We apologize and also thank you for your understanding.
A couple of things to keep in mind while participating here at the new forum.
Passwords were not carried over, check your email for your new password or ask an admin on the chatroom to have it changed. (pre-registered users only)
Change your password immediately to prevent unsolicited users accessing your profiles. (pre-registered users only)
Your previous profile information such as character models, RPG character data, and post counts will not be transferred.
There is no RPG system on this site, and possible plans to discontinue the use of one to conserve processor and memory space.
The character model system is up and running, sprites are currently being arranged and re-added when available.
Custom sprite owners will be given their purchased custom avatars when available.
Becoming Dothack winners are no longer bound by the rules that they must keep their dothack name, this is optional but should you not use it any longer, it will not be reserved for you and be added back to the pool of possible winning names.
Finished programming the majority of the Updater, just want to try to add two other things. These two things do not HAVE to happen, but I'd like them to happen before the first release...
Finished PhotoShopping the GUI for the Updater.
Finished PhotoShopping the GUI for the Main Menu.
Mapped all of the Hulle Granz Cathedral.
This top is now open for people to discuss progress and stuff...
Still working on all the GUI for the game. Majority of it is now done...
Working on adding a extra function to the Updater.
Trying to get a Web Viewer to work on the Main Menu for The World, so then the updates/news/current events of The World can be displayed in a pretty format.
Working on getting everything completely set up for the first Alpha release of The World.
Getting rid of the code that cuts your experience gain by half if your in a party.
Working on a system that gives you a certain amount of EXP based on your level, and the monster's level. This will take awhile most likely, so it's a long-term goal.
Completely redoing the UI of game engine Client. Then I'll work on the graphics and make a GUI.(this is my main thing, but will probably take a good bit of time)
I've decided that I will make a development log for my work on The World: Fragments so you all know what I'm doing and how the project is going. ^^
Currently redoing the entire level up code to make it more like the original .hack// games.
Getting rid of useless code.
Securing already known hacking holes.
Fixing up the server code heavily.
Fixing already known errors.
Getting rid of the code that cuts your experience gain by half if your in a party.
Thinking about redoing the experience gain code so it maxes out at 520exp gained, like the original .hack// games.
Mainly right now I'm doing all the coding I need to... ^^ I might have another update for you all later today.
Those of you returning with us are probably curious to know what changes have occurred. Those of you gone for a very long time may want to take this chance to read up on the Newsletter to flip through the months gone by to see all the changes over the years. Although at first not much has changed, you'll find quite the opposite. Obviously the Newsletter as mentioned above is back in action and taking charge of capturing each months highlights and bonus material written by our esteemed writers. New on the project is our very own radio station broadcasted from our very own Nuke Usagimaru. This is a chance for you to listen to everything dothack on your local media players. Other changes recently has been new features and content added to our adfere wiki site for everything related to dothack.
But those of you were here for our traditional resource, the MMO and the role-play of Integral, would have noticed we at one time had the split of The World R1 and The World R2 but combined those universes along with the universe of The World RX into one massive universe we call The World NExT, new era of twilight. What this means is our role-play takes place in a very alternate universe where aspects and features of all realms used in one. But also we've taken away the least used offline topics and expanded them into its own universe as well known as the city of Hagarashi where the game is hosted and we all live in.
But if that doesn't interest you in the least, then you should head on over to see what our Sprite Team has cooking for you. With over a 5,000 sprite choices making that 25,000,000 possibilities for you to choose from for you to be your very own dothack character! With tons more in the works and available for special events and opportunities, can you imagine the other million possibilities? And our Game Masters building and festively adding new and more content to the RPG system for you to interact and play each day. With more NPCs, more items, more events and quests, and even more monsters as well as new field maps and root towns! What more can you ask for?
So what are you waiting for? See all these and the other newer features of Integral compared to your visit and see why thousands till choose to make this their home and source for everything dothack!~
You may or may not have noticed, but on .hack//Portal there is a donation button. You can use this button to help with the cost of running this place. The donations help pay but are not excluded to:
